YOUR TAX STRATEGY SHOULD BE STRUCTURED,
DEFENSIBLE & TRULY ALIGNED WITH YOUR BUSINESS GOALS.
Perla Carrillo’s public biography already explains her accounting, audit, corporate, and cross-border background. Her role also illustrates a practical point: legal tax advice depends on accurate financial information. Records, reconciliations, prior filings, and entity data often determine what the legal team can evaluate and document.
Tax compliance services may require more than collecting a current-year return. A useful review can involve prior filings, account balances, ownership records, financial statements, and information supplied by outside accountants. Organizing those materials before a tax compliance consultation can help the legal team identify missing facts and inconsistent reporting.
Business tax planning depends on assumptions about income, ownership, distributions, investments, and future transactions. International tax planning may add foreign entities, intercompany activity, currency, or foreign-source income. Perla’s accounting support can help convert those records into a clearer factual picture for the attorneys responsible for legal advice.
Clients who must report foreign bank accounts may need to reconstruct account ownership, balances, signatory authority, and filing history. The accounting work does not replace legal analysis, but complete records can make that analysis more reliable. A well-organized record can also reduce rework when several entities, tax years, or outside advisors are involved in the same matter.
Perla is an Accountant and Non-Attorney, so her role should remain clear. She supports the legal team with financial context, reporting history, and organized documentation. The attorneys remain responsible for legal positions, privilege, representation, and advice. This distinction helps users understand how accounting support can strengthen a tax matter without presenting Perla as legal counsel.
